Missed opportunity with not calling it minecraft.world, though I imagine that has probably already been taken lol
It seems to be available actually. I suppose they could use it if they wanted but I'm not sure how much it costs.
I think the lemmy.world mods would rather keep their arms and legs, instead of using them to pay for a premium minecraft domain lol
Very true, I'm not sure how much it costs, could be extremely expensive.
Usually popular domain names are around $50+ a month. Hopefully by using .world they can keep it below $10 a month.
Also this would probably be breaking the EULA pretty hard if they were to buy it.
How so?
It's a copyrighted name, so it would be copyright infringement.
