What features are missing?
Community servers and alt play modes
I think community servers are back now. No custom maps or alt play modes yet though.
Progress! I want to surf in cs2 haha.
Fucking surf man. I have so much nostalgia for CSS it's unreal. Surf, rat, sncoutknives, deathrun, jail, 24/7 single map 32 player frag fest servers. One of the most underrated GOAT games imo. I know the competitive community shunned it but as a 13 yo kid that game shaped me into a PC gamer for life.
rats maps and gungame... .cs source ate hundreds of hours of my time.
You can launch csgo still by checking it in the beta options for cs2. Still has community servers
It's planned to be deleted in 2024.
it's not planned to be deleted. iirc it'll just stop receiving support for game coordinator (skins, cases etc.)
Which is crazy considering we can still run 1.6
Is the old school server browser gone completely?
Not really a feature but many maps are missing.
arms race, flying scoutsman, for two...
Many features
Gun game for one
