Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, made the comments in an 8,000-word article on Russian-Polish relations, saying Moscow now had a "dangerous enemy" in Poland.

Poland, which has backed Ukraine, accuses Russia of trying to destabilise the country with disinformation campaigns and espionage. Moscow has condemned what it sees as Warsaw's hostile stance towards it and Russian interests in Poland.

There was no immediate response to Medvedev's comments from Poland.

How is it still news what Medvedev saying?

This guy is spewing out the most insane pro-government propaganda ever since he left office, because he knows that he's leaving the building through a window if he ever stops. During his presidency he dared to criticize Russia (and by that the former government, so Putin et al) and took a more western stance.

He's a puppet and will never say anything sane again in his life.

He was a seat warmer put in place while term limits were still a thing and Putin had to bounce between higher offices.

I think the point is to highlight how ridiculous and dangerous Kremlin propaganda targeted at Russians is.

Well, they now have to say "Putin ally" in the headline to bait you into clicking on the article to find out who it was.
