This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Nah its just because he is one of their own now, if they accept or legitimize any action against Elon then you open a can of worms against others. Sure people like Bill Gates are loved by libs and such but your average hedge fund manager, banker, oil CEO/exec? They can't run the risk of legitimizing anti-Elon action, it would be anti-democratic etc.
Besides Elon already maneuvered to get himself in the good graces of people that matter e.g all the government contracts now. They're not conscious or even smart enough to be signal boosting fascism from Elon specifically, he gets away with it because he is untouchable that's all imo.
