A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

I'd say once people stop talking about reddit.
Its like a boyfriend you broke up with but you can't stop talking to your friends about.
Go on Reddit and talk about how your new boyfriend Lemmy is so awesome, that way you're accomplishing something.
Here, we know Lemmy is awesome and here we know Reddit broke your heart.
"For the record, I broke up with Reddit, not the other way around!"
Just block the communities that focus on Reddit. It doesn't really spill out into other communities.
