I'd sooner caution against gatekeeping.
It is an insane leap to call this gatekeeping when it's actively making fun of gatekeeping. If the line ended with Odo/Quark, sure, but it doesn't. The name is misspelled. Directly making fun of people who claim to be gatekeepers while knowing nothing about what they're talking about.
Ensign, the joke still is about gatekeeping, so we are allowed to complain about anyone gatekeeping in this comment section.
Now go polish the phase inverters.
Agreed. I am very fond of star trek already and i am only 10 episodes into the original series. I believe it will take several months if not year before i get to know the characters in this picture.
