"We recognize that, in the next four years, our decision may cause us to have an even more difficult time. But we believe that this will give us a chance to recalibrate, and the Democrats will have to consider whether they want our votes or not."

That's gotta be one of the strangest reasonings I've heard in a while.

Republicans and Democrats have always been on the same side regarding war. And most other things.

A single republican out of a red state calling for killings is far different than the leader of a party, and the one that can stop it, allowing it

What makes you think that Biden could stop support to Israel?

Obama couldn't close down Guantanamo and the stakes were a lot lower.

Biden could demand Israel stop, like Reagan did in 1983.

Reagan had Tip O'Neil in the Congress and Biden has Mike Johnson.

Reagan made a direct call to Begin and demanded a ceasefire on Lebanon or else Israel loses all access to weapons and aircraft. He didn't need Tip O'Neil.

Trump's Evangelicals would happily nuke the whole Middle East if they thought it would bring the Rapture.

That's besides rolling voting rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and human rights in general.

I agree with Biden 51% of the time. I disagree with Trump 100% of the time.

In fairness, Obama only ran on closing Gitmo. He gave up on the first setback.
