@Astrealix latest ArsenalVision pod posed an interesting question.
Which player who we wanted to stay, but left, would still be universally welcome back at the club (not necessarily as a player)?
For me, Santi would be an automatic choice.

I think Santi absolutely, also Xhaka will be soon. Doubt anyone wants him to leave after that redemption arc if as a coach or something. Hell I don't want him to leave even without it lol.
Also, Bergkamp?
@Astrealix Bergkamp retired rather than left for another club.
But yeah, the question was posed in relation to Xhaka's departure.
Fair point, I was mostly just thinking about universally loved players tbh. Henry maybe? I don't want him as a coach though cuz he doesn't actually seem that great at it lol
@Astrealix I got the impression some people weren't happy with his last season at the club, though the reception during his brief return suggests otherwise.
But yeah, definitely not as a coach 🤐
@thatdosbox @Astrealix Was Santi wanted back though? I felt we basically told him to find another role as we weren’t sure if he was capable of playing in the PL anymore.
Overmars (pre all the dodgy shit at Ajax), Vieira, Toure, Koscielny, Henry, Santi, Flamini (1st time), Sagna.
Probably loads more for me.

@raumdeuter @Astrealix maybe? His "North London is red" after Bayern beat the spuds gives him extra credit, but there was something odd about how he ended up there via Werder Bremen 🤔
