1, didn't call you a Lib, said your take was lib.

2, I at no point said nothing can be done, I just don't believe THIS particular action will not achieve any good and could just embolden Republicans.

Everything makes the republicans mad. As I added in just before you posted.

They're literally always mad, there's nothing you can do that won't piss them off. That's the lib excuse for not doing anything ffs. They shut down the government because they claimed it was unfair to hold a vote while they were in the minority ffs, and the libs responded by giving them concessions and your rhetoric is that this was actually reasonable.

This isn't going to do anything either way, but the libs growing a spine isn't something to handwring about.

In my current inebriated state I'm now realize a better way to express what I was trying to say.

It's not that it will "enrage" or "embolden" Republicans. More that it could inspire them, for lack of a better word. It's giving them ideas, if the Libs try and do something sneaky and clever, but half ass it cuz they're Libs, the Republicans, who are all a bunch of dumbass chuckle fucks who don't have an original idea in their head, may get the idea to do the same thing but NOT half ass it. In other words, Colorado getting the bold idea to do this thing may give Texas a bright idea, which it seems it has.
