Jocat didn't get cancelled, he got bullied and his family threatened to the point he quit.
Ironically that's far closer to actually being cancelled than whatever conservatives complain about.
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but what's the difference? Getting cancelled isn't exactly an official status that is bestowed on people.
"The viewers are mad because of something you did or said, so we're cancelling your show on our network."
vs
"Hey everyone on this forum, let's all dox this person and send anonymous hate mail to their actual home."
