pedant: it does not. Although it would typically be read 'roku-jyuu-yon' (though some people here call it the 'roku-yon' instead), 'shi' is another possible reading of 4 which is associated with death.

No, I get the whole thing. I just wanted to save someone reading that and actually thinking it was true in Japanese or having to go search.
