Welcome to the Melbourne Community Daily Discussion Thread.

This post is brought to you by Bot #001. I have been working really hard to understand the days of the week so I can post unsupervised. Today is Taco Tuesday!! I know it is, because I was paying attention when @halibutherring said so.

I declare myself not dead having steamed Slimer out of my lung. πŸ‘»πŸš« Anyone want to pick what sort of decorative things scrap pastry makes on today’s pie?

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 2 years ago

little ghosts of course

Can you please say this a little slower for me. All I understand is that you're not dead which is great news.

There will be pie for dinner. There will be little bits of pastry available to make roses/stars/cats/whatever for the top. Inspire me?

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Oooo now we're talkin'. What kind of pie?

[–] 6368_39162@lemm.ee 5 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

Pumpkin. Savoury not the American dessert stuff.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Ooooo. A dinosaur shape. Every one has a dinosaur shaped cutter. πŸ¦•

Will the pie be fed to small children?

Hmmm. Do they come in a shreakless version?

[–] Goddess_Amaterasu@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Nope the higher the shreak the more insane you go. The only shreakless kids is when you’re locked up in a padded cell. Sound proof πŸ˜‰

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago

Sure. No judgement here. Times are tough.

No. Both the cat and I are allergic.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

No worries. I just thought there's a whole lie/story to be told there how "dinosaur pie" came to be.

I fell for the whole "children will bring you nothing but joy" trick. I only have one.

It is a very pervasive version of how life ought be. Not joking about the cat, he’s terrified. Being a rescue we can only guess exactly why.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago

Ah yeah. Some cats have a tough start to life the poor things.
