Unironically, yes they do.
Like half of Europe ALSO believes that. I've legit had arguments with people at my work as to whether or not Putin wants to invade Denmark, despite the fact that we are quite far away from Russia, and also don't have a russian population that we are actively persecuting.
God they just want to be included. I am sure those people are dying for Russia to invade. What's a victim complex if you are not the victim?
Also, it was already dead. It had been delayed due to legal challenges to the point where the capitalists were about to just shit-can the project anyway. It was direct action and movement pressure which canceled that pipeline. Biden literally just took credit once it was already a done deal.
