Transitioning with PCOS (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

Hii I'm nonbinary but I do want to look more masc. But I recently found out I have PCOS (Its not 100% confirmed by my PCP still waiting to see gynecologist for more treatment + confirming for sure).

What I was wondering is does anyone else have experience doing T (I probably want to mircodose) with PCOS? I'm asking because I'm worried that now its not a possibility at all for me with how messed up my hormones have been and that once I get them stable doing T would mess with it all too much, and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas?

Generally pcos means that you eventually need to be on hormone treatment anyway, so the treatment might as well be masculine since your hormones already need to be changed. It's different for everyone ofc but my endocronoligist says that my terrible hormones were like a blessing in disguise because it was hard to make it worse with the treatment lmao

Fair point, ty that is what is hard is hrt tends to be super specific per person, and then pcos is similar so was worried , but just finding good provider then sounds important
