I don't. I have a lot of really unpopular opinions and it's important to me that everyone knows about them.
If you've got a few minutes to chat I can give you the gist.
This comment REALLY rang a bell with me.
Especially living in Thailand, where any concepts of truth or reality are buried in what you SHOULD think or do.
Lead the discussion with some people weighing in about whether they turn off their phone when they are on a Plane (pretty much pointless with modern aircraft) or turning off their engine/aircon when refuelling when it's 40°C (also pretty much pointless unless you're in a really badly maintained and pretty ancient vehicle) and anyone talking sense gets downvoted to f*@k.
I'm also fascinated to see Dr. John on Youtube today, explaining that the only decent study ever conducted into the recent COVID lockdowns was only able to use data from 22 out of 19500 studies looked at, because they ALL used 'modelling' and interpreted in totally subjective ways... It's something that made me ashamed to be British, because we just politically toed the line without paying attention to any real data - and governments doing that also swayed doctors with false information leading to what is probably the worst part of our recent history.
You know, with mental disorders rising from 7% to around 40% in people aged 19-45. How huge is that?
So yes, I will push unpopular opinions - because there's nothing more important than expressing 1. the Truth and 2. What you really believe (even if it's wrong and you're a twat).
Yeah that was kind of my point. What floofloof is suggesting is porting over the worst feature of reddit. The one that literally creates a hivemind. Not interested in that at all.
