What was your first anime? When did you started to watch it? How did you become aware of its existence?

How does it rank for you? Would you say you still like it? Would you consider it one of you favourite anime series?

Technically, probably a few episodes of DBZ as a kid. After that, I think I watched some of Fairy Tale based on a friend’s recommendation in high school and eventually dropped it. I just didn't have the patience for typical shounen pacing.

I still consider the "first" anime I really watched to be Spice and Wolf. It was the first show I actually chose to watch and finished, and I still have a real soft spot for it. Tentatively excited about that reboot!
