Ever tried it with no breading? Just straight raw cauliflower deep fried in oil.
It's a classic in Lebanon. Usually comes with tahini sauce. The cauliflower browns perfectly but doesn't become greasy. It's delightful.
If you have a big enough pot and enough oil, you can do an entire head at once.
I have not, but that sounds awesome. What type of spicy sauce would that usually be paired with?
Shatta is very common if you want a kick. It's mostly chilis.
