The title makes it sound like no one wanted to do it.

Wait, Gibbs is the least compelling character on the show. Maybe I just see things in a different light, but the only thing that separates this from a bog standard police procedural is watching all the other characters try to deal with the fallout from Gibb's hollywood issue most-tragic-backstory-ever trauma and solving the mystery of why he hasn't been shuffled off to a desk job where he can't do much harm yet.

All of the supporting characters had more depth, development, and more relatable back stories.

EDIT: Mark Harmon is the executive producer, that explains everything. That should teach me to post without reading the full article, but honestly it won't.

Yeah he 100% thinks this is gonna be his young Sheldon.

Everyone loves Gibbs in Harmon's mind, even tho we all know we watched the show for everyone but Gibbs.

I stoped liking the dude after all the shit with the actor who plays Abby, she left because he's a fuckhead who doesn't give a shit about anyone.

I hope they cast Marc Harmon as young Gibbs and go all-in on AI de-aging just to make it a complete farce.

So nothing original? Just keep the money flowing in with the same old stories.

In international law, a criminal order or illegal order is a military order for the commission of a war crime or other violation of international criminal law. Because superior orders do not exonerate such violations, it is obligatory to disobey the order.

I liked Gibbs on NCIS, but CBS couldn't think of something more original to do?
