Keep the damn cats indoors. Simple. If you can't provide them with entertainment and stimulation in the house, then don't get a cat.

Precisely. It really isn't tough. Also, letting your cat freely roam outside is DETRIMENTAL to the cat itself. Plenty of studies have shown a plethora of health risks as well as a decreased life span. Not only is it terrible for the ecosystem, it's bad for the cat too.

I do support a ban on keeping cats outdoors in areas they're not native, this seems like common sense, and fair it's not like I can keep my non-native reptiles outdoors (although they'd freeze where I live anyway)
