Is anyone surprised by this?

Slashdot still existing surprises me too.
If we can't trust giant industrial corporations motivated by constant year over year profit growth, who CAN we trust?!?
This is not mildly infuriating. This is just plain old infuriating.
We’ve actually known since the mid 1800s.
No because this was probably part of their plan to corrode the world.

It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.
