Williams said DPD would not use the software without a crime committed and will not use it for live-streamed events, protests, or other incidents it deems "first amendment activities."

They will 100% use it during protests.

This sounds like stalker software in the making. And once something is a resource it will be used. And highly likely, inappropriately too.

If it some how gets public, which I'd argue is more a matter of time, it becomes only more of an issue.
