I wonder if, given how many liberals are TERFs, they don’t actually want to show pronouns visibly to push back on that “there are no women on the internet” mindset specifically because a trans woman’s “she/her” is the same as their “she/her”.
Maybe? I can't tell if any women push back against it at all or if it's all men. Mostly because we have no indication. This is one factor I imagine plays a part, faceless voices online with no link to age, background, class, sexuality or gender which are all things you get in real life make the online opinion machine a black box for people that aren't terminally online who have gathered other indicators of certain things in the online space (financebros, crypto etc indicating class for one example)

Outside of stuff like discord servers ran by friends, this is the only not exclusively trans space on the internet i feel safe in, and tbh i actually like it better here than in a lot of expressly trans spaces because i have never encountered any truscum, homonationalist or other assimilationist dinguses on here.
