My god is this race delivering - drama, overtakes, crashes everything

We need sprinklers randomly going off on all tracks.

[โ€“] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 14 points 2 years ago (1 children)

[โ€“] SatouKazuma@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

I don't even think they know...

[โ€“] hsr@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 2 years ago

Haas breaking everyone's ankles, holy moly.

[โ€“] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago (2 children)

So unfortunate for Norris.

Crazy drama in this race so far.

Brundle on Perez: I forgot he was in it (the race), if I'm honest

Can't blame you there, Martin.

Bonkers strategy by Ferrari. What were they thinking.

[โ€“] Thade780@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Bold of you to assume they were.

No way for them to get any points with the engine issue, might as well try something. As long as Charles doesn't crash there's no cost to going slicks

[โ€“] espentan@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Lando carries on, with inters.. interesting.

[โ€“] Sentau@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 2 years ago

One lap too much it seems

[โ€“] SatouKazuma@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

Mercedes have the opportunity to do something quite funny here.

[โ€“] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Excellent start by K Mag on that wet tire. Disastrous for Ricciardo.

[โ€“] GreenEngineering3475@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

And Leclerc pits again. Looks like the Ferrari is back boys.

[โ€“] Sentau@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 2 years ago

Well they are slow + leclerc has a PU issue. He was a perfect candidate for a crazy strategy because he ain't scoring points anyway

[โ€“] Thade780@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Did Charles factory reset his car?

Totally understand why Haas made the call on wets, surprised more lower teams didn't try it

But equally surprised they put both drivers on wets.. smart choice for lower field runners surely would be split strategy?

Albono passing between two cars to overtake. Oh Albono and Canada is always exciting.

Ooo, wet race.

Any bets on whether Leclerc will be able to finish?

[โ€“] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

Jeez Perez. Knocked the crap out of the rear of his car.

[โ€“] SatouKazuma@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago (8 children)

Of course Checo fucking takes the piss. It'll be fun to see who Red Bull put in that second seat in 2025. Maybe Sainz? Tsunoda?
