They should've been watching Copa America instead. We got two good games, the USA losing to Panama in a game with 500 leg breaking tackles, and Uruguay thrashing Bolivia. True classics.

An ultra conservative evangelical leader from Paraguay that used to be kickboxing champion, blessed the Copa and gave an inocuous little speech. He is the cult leader of one of the Conmebol ghouls.

The speech was inocuous but the guy is terrible. And this goes against the maximum rule of FIFA of [wink wink nudge nudge] "not being political nor religious"
