Definitely no.
Definitely yes. Putin belongs to Xi.
If Xi wanted the war over, Putin would roll over immediately. There is no world where lowly Putin gets to say 'No' to Xi.
China has next to no dependencies on Russia but Russia would collapse within 2 years of China just said no.
Both Xi and Putin knew this when they had their little negotiation last year.
Oh my.... Imagine how far Putin had to lean forward for Xi to get China to deliver the essentials for Putin's war machine.
And now that you know the value of the card held, you know what needs to be offered to see it played.
Maybe, but it sure wouldn't hurt to try.
