Funny how roads don't need to turn a profit but trains do.
Every leftist needs to quote the words of this one vegan sidekick comic: "Why are you putting me through all this scrutiny and no one else?"
We always have to be subject to scrutiny for every minor thing, but a rightoid can quite literally say he wants the fourth reich because "it would be funny" and we all have to respect that opinion.
What this says is that this route has loads of potential and could handle many more trains on it.
100%. Roads do not make profits or even break even. They're a huge cost that all taxpayers are just supposed to gladly subsidize. But it is nice to see that this rail expansion meets the arguably unrealistic expectation put on rail in less than two weeks.
Wonder what the next excuse will be to stuff us all into cars?
