Heritage President Kevin Roberts made news last week when he said the American right was “in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”

They're really not hiding it anymore, they straight up want another civil war.

[-] unconfirmedsourcesDOTgov 35 points 1 month ago

They were never really hiding it, we just all assumed they were insane fringe ideas and nothing would come of it. Things have changed...

[-] mindyabeesnes@beehaw.org 2 points 1 month ago

If the left what?? Mask completely off now, huh.

[-] EonNShadow@pawb.social 88 points 1 month ago

More likely a pink panda, but let's not split hairs.

[-] RamblingPanda@lemmynsfw.com 14 points 1 month ago

I'm fine with both to be honest. They can do shifts if they want.

From their telegram:

final hack~

over the past 7 days, we have released a hack every day, from NATO to Israel, we attacked many. we have one more gift for you all, its one minute till midnight so i'll start the show~

we hacked The Heritage Foundation :3 (holy moly!!!) The Heritage Foundation is a conservative think tank in America, among the most influential public policy organizations. this organization is responsible for leading Project 2025, an authoritarian Christian nationalist plan to reform the United States government.

Project 2025 threatens the rights of abortion healthcare and LGBTQ+ communities in particular. so of course, we won't stand for that! ^-^

we have gained access to The Heritage Foundation's database, with user data, logs, and other juicy info :D we also accessed 200GB+ of other, mostly useless, files in their server. these useless files wont be leaked.

mew mew i wonder what would happen if we leaked the passwords, email addresses, and full names of every user :3 every US government employee, even the Heritage president Kevin Roberts.

be gay do crime~

LEAK: https://mega.nz/file/cD8mHRjD#YGxykiDiQMdvMz1SneiwPL6zTDBhs8rTxtUwQ9lEujM

thank you to verty for greatly helping with this hack!

dear heritage foundation,

get in touch with us! we will make fun of you endlessly :3

#OpTransRights

thank you everyone who has supported us. we have an important announcement coming soon.

Why put out a leak using mega‽

Why not a torrent which is decentralised and not annoying like Mega

[-] DrJenkem@lemmy.blugatch.tube 36 points 1 month ago

If the feds connect to the tracker before the file is fully seeded, the IP address of the lone seeder will be exposed. Torrents are good for their resistance to censorship, but they're bad for privacy.

[-] jarfil@beehaw.org 8 points 1 month ago

That can be solved by setting up multiple partial seeders, so none has the full file, but as a whole they can still seed it.

And/or seeding over I2P.

[-] xavier666@lemm.ee 4 points 1 month ago
[-] bolexforsoup@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 month ago

I’m sure people will be seeding it in no time

[-] LordJer@beehaw.org 4 points 1 month ago

Anyone got the file to open? I tried using mega but ran into problems.

[-] Fuzzy_Red_Panda@lemm.ee 1 points 1 month ago

"The file you are trying to download is no longer available." 🙁

[-] NGnius@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

Seems like they're keeping the link up to date on their telegram https://t.me/s/SiegedSecurity

[-] HappyFrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 36 points 1 month ago

God I love gay furry hackers

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 7 points 1 month ago

But only in that order.

[-] sunzu@kbin.run 25 points 1 month ago

Bootlickers in shambles...

I wonder if they go on record calling us peasants haha

[-] luckystarr@feddit.org 13 points 1 month ago

I wonder if a verifiable link to Trump can be made through network (as in graphs) analysis of the people and their connections in that list.

[-] Thorry84@feddit.nl 16 points 1 month ago

It's an official act, so total immunity applies.

What isn't an official act you say? Well that's a good question, but simply put anything that isn't an unofficial act. But then what's an unofficial act I hear you ask? I'll let you know once we have found one, but so far none have been found and it's possible none exist.

[-] ramble81@lemm.ee 9 points 1 month ago

Close… the way it was phrased it basically becomes up to the Supreme Court to decide what’s “official”

[-] pythonoob@programming.dev 6 points 1 month ago

He's not currently president, so it wouldn't be an official act, no? The wording doesn't give the president immunity for life. It has to be something done through the office of the president.

[-] u_tamtam@programming.dev 10 points 1 month ago

Would that make a difference?

[-] luckystarr@feddit.org 2 points 1 month ago

Doubtful, but, though unlikely, perhaps some media house would want to pick it up?

[-] WamGams@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago
[-] einkorn@feddit.org 43 points 1 month ago

Videos? Yeah.

Documents? Can be quite a lot!

[-] Ava@beehaw.org 18 points 1 month ago
