Seems like something was changed by G*ogle which broke Newpipe's extractor. It's used by Newpipe, Tubular and Piped so all three broke. Invidious and Freetube work for now. Freetube is an app so you can try that if you want.

Yep i tried and it still work. I was talking about apps for phones.
Pipepipe (its on fdroid) is the only one that got an update so far but I'd expect an update to others soonish. It seems to be some sort of change under the hood. But it seems to have been figured out
Also if using an android box smart tube next got several updates today and that is working

Freetube has been pretty funky lately, but it still works.
Check the newpipe debug apk its working I guess. Libretube is working fine. I think invidious works too.
I just watch youtube on Firefox for Android with ublock origin installed. Works fine
Yep but there's no fdroid fork, and im limiting the amount of aurora store's apps i install on my phone.
Fennec is on fdroid. It's Firefox without the branding. Also Mull which is a hardened version.

Haven't been able to open homepage on my main account since yesterday. It just says "something went wrong" every time. Not sure what's going on with youtube rn
I tried libretube and it work.
