Surprised to hear Singapore has a law which states that any building must create equal square footage of green space as the footprint it occupies. That's pretty solarpunk, and probably something lawmakers anywhere could adopt.

Looks really good, I wish my city was filled with greenery as this! I wonder if there is darker side of this

I would say it's not magic. It's still building a city and replacing nature, and probably using a lot of carbon to do it. The benefit is that it puts much of that nature back afterwards.

It also doesn't necessarily work everywhere. There might be bushfire concerns or dangerous animals to worry about.
