I like that a lot of these are atmospheric horror versus jump scare slasher shit.
I like Slashers, but I find jump scares to be boring. Not too sure how I feel about atmospheric horror. Do you have any standout examples? I'm trying to explore everything, but a lot of metaphorical and implied shit goes over my head. I don't know if that matters with this sub-genre
I still need too see a few of those, but I don't understand the love of "It follows". It has an interesting premise that and does virtually nothings with it.
I'm also glad that the "Cabin in the woods" didn't make the list, because I also don't understand the love for that film. I understand what it tries to be, but I have liked the "Scream" version of meta-horror far more.
