~~I don't know how much they paid people in waste management back then, but I was a kid around that time, my dad was an engineer, and our first house was a lot smaller and less fancy than that one.~~

Edit: I'm a moron.

You are missing out - it was a fantastic series. Like most of the good ones you have to give it a half a season in to get hooked. In the meantime, thanks for the thumbs up.

What did you think of the ending?

[-] rastro@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 year ago

It was both unsatisfying and provoking. There build up could be leading to death or what we witnessed - a strange, horribly dysfunctional family somehow being together doing the most normal of things.

Looks like the house of a person who could've never been a varsity athlete. Small hands

Can you explain what you mean here? If houses are getting bigger, according to this unknown source, I don’t think that would make them more affordable.

It means it's not as simple as saying 1950 home = 2023 home and therefore any differences in price are due to inflation.

Ok, so if you want to go by square footage:

1920 house is 1048 sq/ft or $6 sq/ft 2023 house (newer numbers) are 1920 sq/ft and $257 sq/ft.
