Forgot to mention that somebody a couple of streets over had their Christmas lights and decorations up at the beginning of November

I thought they must have their clock forward a month...

Light pollution is thought to do massive damage to insect populations so yes.

They cluster and get eaten and then the biosphere collapses.

We have someone like that along the highway. they have this amazing-ridiculous display of Christmas themed noodle arm blowup statues.
