45 minutes of borderline painful riffing about like bob dylan meeting billy bob thornton and 15 interspersed minutes of extremely interesting and poignant political economic analysis lol don't get me wrong I love the show but it's an interesting mixture these days

It still sucks that Tanya had to drop from the show. I hope she's living her best life out there

I think the best thing about Tanya is despite being politically involved, she was actually pretty offline and also didn’t keep up with the news cycle. Which is a good thing because her asking what the hell they’re referencing kept the show from getting too jesse-wtf .

Just started listening to Trillbillies a few months ago. Any good episode recs with Tanya?

I remember her being on a fair bit and taking about some of the work she did in mid 2020. She was great on any episode she was on, the only thing is the show follows the news cycle so I'm not sure how relevant older episodes would feel

I can't remember which episode it was, but the one where she has a story where some person said something like "one of us is going to jail, and one of us is going to hell" sticks in my memory forever

I think a worse era of Trilbillies was when the 45 minutes was spent arguing with random comments people leave on their patreon instead of bob dylan riffs lol

I used to listen to it regularly years ago until they started going on extended religious tangents and discussions about e-crises every episode. Also, Tanya leaving the show was extremely unfortunate.

Lately if Aaron is on an episode it’s pretty reliably solid and somewhat focused. If he’s not there’s like a 75% chance it’s all nonsense.

As long as an episode starts with Tom saying 'Well...' in his accent, I'm happy.

"Wheyll..."
