hope GOG never changes, they introduced me to so many classic PC games that were before my time that id otherwise never have gotten to play
Got to drive that attention economy. The realest OGs are those that reverse engineer games so they can be ported anywhere like OpenTTD or OpenMW.
Are these worth picking up? I wasn't sure what the wc2 'battlenet' edition was, but I'm assuming I need to reinstall battlenet to play that one?
Yes, they are classics.
They’ve aged if you’re used to RTSs, but they’re still timeless classics which can be enjoyed by anyone in my opinion.
WC1 is a little rough, commanding only 1 unit at a time is painful.
WC2 is iconic, lots of QOL changes and a fun story.
