Kerryposting was a year long wrecker campaign against the site in which thousands of accounts were created to do nothing but spam pictures of John Kerry. They would get banned within minutes but they (hexbear.net)
 

continued this for a very long time. They used bots for this and mass created thousands of accounts that they held on ice to use later, it was a real moderation pain. It was possibly the most persistent wrecker campaign I've seen against any site, ever. So they get some points of respect from me purely for that. It went on for so long.

Yes tagline, I was there for that, it was WEIRD.

There was a new email sent to tmz demanding ONE bitcoin in exchange for info that will lead to the person who did it. Now this is funny because 1 btc is about equal to how much the FBI is offering for info (like 60 grand). Last night, a stumped CNN anchor asked WHY a person would want the money upfront for info, and the other guy said (paraphrasing) "the authorities don't have a good track record of paying out rewards to good samaritans". They then went on to talk about the narc who ratted out Luigi and didn't get the reward money.

Just thought it was funny they'd even bother to mention that and do an actual analysis of how horrible the feds are and why someone would want to game the system.
