I’m a trans refugee living with my sisters in Juba South Sudan . Late last year, three of them were arrested while fetching water. The police refused bail even when i presented documents. With community support, two of my sisters were released and one survived a serious hospital stay.

One sister is still inside. Charity has been in jail for over a month, in harsh conditions and the police are demanding $213 for her bail before court. Every day she remains there puts her health at more risk.

If a few people are able to give $5 or $10, it truly adds up. Any extra support also helps us get food and clean water while we wait. If donating isn’t possible sharing or bumping this helps more than you might think.
