From a few quick tests it seems to mirror my real-world range once I populated a few things like antenna gain, power, and vegetation height.

This sounds pretty interesting, I was thinking about setting up a node at a relative's house that lives in the mountains and this might just be the perfect tool to find out how good it would fare before committing to buying the hardware needed
