So, my kid had a corset they weren't using. They said it was too big. So... They let me try it on and it looks so feminizing, even under a shirt! I put on my sticky nude bra thing with it, and God it feels so good! It may not be much boobage, but hell, I look down and see something other than man-belly now!

Btw, what apps do you use to connect to lemmy? I've been using Connect, but can never seem to upload pics or anything? I wanna show off, I feel cute! 🥺

Corsets make me feel so much better about myself. I got mine at an estate sale lol. They help with the "wideness" dysphoria. My girlfriend says I have child bearing hips when I wear one, not just saying that in a horny way.

I use connect or liftoff depending on which instance I'm on. Liftoff seems to upload a little bit better, but is also missing a few features I'd consider essential like being able to load a specific comment thread from a notification.

I really like voyager, it’s stable and its got pretty much every feature you’d need, development is very active. if you’re on ios you might have to use the pwa because i think the testflight is full but on android you should be able to run it fully native, check the github if ur curious

Sync on android has been pretty great! It's customizable too.

I've been super curious about corsets for a bit just for trying that hourglass shape out! I think I have a little diffence at my waist anyway(slightly awkward as amab) but I want to see more shape.

As someone who just got her first "real" corset recently, i can totally relate. Love the feeling of being laced up.

I use Effinity, likely the most full featured client yet. Its a fork of Infinity for Reddit.

Now that's not a sentence I was ever expecting to hear.

Side note: anybody notice how the icon for this community looks almost exactly like the Marathon logo?

Adding a corset to the list of things to try on, did an ungodly large online clothes order (over £400) safe in the knowledge that I'm going to return the lot of it after I'm done trying it on. Won't be my first time wearing women's clothing, but it'll be my first time since realising

Well, good luck on trying on clothes, and I wish your wallet a speedy recovery!

[-] Vlaxtocia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 year ago

Oh no don't worry! I'm going to send the lot back! 😂, I'm only recently properly out to myself and it still doesn't feel quite real yet, this is just a trial run to figure out what sort of thing I like

I use Liftoff, seemed better than Jerboa or Connect for me. Haven't tried out other apps though.

I use sync for browsing my subbed communities. But I still use and frequently check the web app, as sync does not yet support full notifications.

Same, though it's mod tools that I'm missing more than notifications
