I like these buildings too because they provide an extremely easy opportunity to launch into an homage on the power of labor for anyone within earshot. Especially since they usually house capitalist institutions in a way that makes an excellent example of “this was built by labor, but look who put their name on top in neon”

I fucking hate modern architecture, it's a monument to capitalism where the only objective is profit and any budget cut is justified. We have soulless building made of glass where i live residential house are flat and boring even our interior are devoid of detail everything is IKEA bullshit flat all white minimalist shit. Things weren't necessarily better back then but at least they were trying to make things beautiful.
