I picked up the Meze 99 Classics headset to use for work and after hours gaming with friends. Works great for me, sound quality is excellent on the headphones and condenser mic, while still being pretty lightweight.

A little spendy, but I find it to be worth it. Plus, I really dig the walnut aesthetic.

Only downside IMO, is they're not noise canceling so some ambient noise still gets through. Not an issue for me, but could be for others..

Looks very nice, thanks!

Bose comfort 25 but without the Bose app that basically enshitifies the hardware and spies on you. I can't ride an airplane without the nose cancelling now either.

Thanks for the link. Any tips on using the headphones without the Bose Connect app?

I just uninstalled the app. They actually work better. Zoom has a hard time sometimes but overall swapping between connected devices works much easier. No need to go to the app for anything.

This is actually an issue I have with the Bose Connect app. Thanks, I'll try without the app.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Love that I can quickly swap out the batteries when the headset dies (base station charges the one not in use) and when the headset is switched off the base station outputs to speakers so I never have to switch audio devices on my computer, and when switching batteries in the middle of a meeting I can still hear everything that's being said.

Same here, audio is good but the whole thing is heavy

Steelseries Arctis 3.

I've even had to buy replacement foam covers.

HyperX Cloud Stinger.

It can be a bit warm but it's comfortable and the battery lasts for ever between charges.

I have never liked Razer products all that much but after doing a ton of research on this I landed on the Razer Blackshark V2 Wireless headset and I absolutely love it. I got mine in white because it looked the most professional for the days when I had to go into the office. I no longer do WFH or teleconferencing work but it was a fantastic headset when I used it for work.
