Anyone would have lost. Don't you understand what's going on in the US. Have you seen the MAGA movement? How can any sane person compete with this shittery? It was meant to happen, if not 2024 then 2028.
It's simple. The DNC needs to go off script, that's all their is to it. They need to take risks, be bolder, control the media narrative, and abandon their precious, "status quo."
I agree with that they must change. I mean it's apparent. But how do you challenge something like MAGA? It doesn't matter what they say, MAGA will always blame everything on them. Sorry, but I don't believe you. Trump didn't get many more votes than last time, the Dems just got fewer. Had Biden stepped back earlier and given someone else a real chance, things would probably have turned out differently.
I would agree that most people would have lost given the short time. Not everyone, because there was real energy and hope for some time (before wonderful statements like "things won't change with me"), but most Dems.
