First the DPRK got Necromancy, now gamers. Juche is truly the most advanced Marxist thought.

Hmm. I probably wouldn't have authorised photos to be released without the computers actually in the room. The events themselves will create better images.

300 person lan spaces is a good start though. Wonder how their grid would even handle a larger lan. I've organised at some pretty significant 1500-3000 seat lans and there are some pretty significant hurdles to get over with how you set up your power and the local station being aware of it in order to like... Not break the power grid for an entire town, which we achieved once.

I like the Hexbear ceiling. hexbear-retro

Who decided that the gamer aesthetic needed to be so tacky?

Closest we have is a cheating fake gamer who can't even make a halfway decent Elden Ring build in the White House

From DPRK media, KCNA. There's 10 photos of Hwasong on the link.

Kim Jong Un went round a 300-seat video game house built in a characteristic style.

He was pleased to hear that the game house to be furnished with various kinds of facilities is expected to be very popular among young people including children when it is opened. He said that special attention should be paid to the establishment of its operation system and order and the preparations for service as this new space specializing in service for video games is a base of the service field to be opened for the first time in the country.
