Wondering if anyone knows good alternatives to Discord's screen sharing feature (good quality, good framerate, low latency, and sound support).

Preferably FOSS, but at this point I'm taking all answers. Feel free to redirect me if there's any other community I should ask this in.

I haven’t used it yet but I did just learn that rustdesk.com exists a few weeks ago. Give it a peek and see if it fits your use case.

For full sharing I chose Moonlight + Sunshine which gives great visuals and sound, but it has the drawback of also outputing audio when in a call. Isn't this similar?

I'm looking for screensharing without control

Which OS are you using you can probably use someone to stop that.

Windows, but I'll be switching to Linux eventually, so I would prefer a solution that supports both OS

Interesting, but I find the documentation pretty light. Doesn’t help me trust it. Seems like you either have to self host a whole web server or stream to a third party websites that doesn’t really explain how security is handled.

There's an app called Guilded, but I'm not sure if it has that feature
