A company’s phone bot actually able to answer my questions properly? I’ve never seen it happen. You gotta scream the word “representative” multiple times or else it would put you through loops of utter nonsense. You can’t say it at a polite volume or else it will ignore it. You can’t just say it once because it will “argue” with you that it knows how to do things faster, which is never really the case.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Maybe the anti-chatbot-chatbot just screams "REPRESENTATIVE" repeatedly? Nobody said it had to be smart.
It's amusing when swearing works so I try that first.
I don't think I have ever had a chatbot solve my problem. Because I'm not an idiot that asks the simplest of questions you can answer with a quick Google search. If I'm resorti g to customer service I am desperate and the chatbot Is out of its expertise.
Never had a call end with a chatbot/call tree solving anything. The only times I call is because I know a need a human override with something.
(I understand there's probably a large portion of their call volume that can be solved via bots.)
I hate menus and bots on phone calls, but kinda don't mind them as much in text. I do a fair amount of shopping on Amazon and thus have had a few problems with products/returns/etc and they've helped me out in less time than it would take to get a person on the line, have them look shit up, etc.
But 'Please listen to carefully as our menu options have changed: <proceeds to spend 90 seconds just listing fucking options only to discover that there isn't an option for what I'm calling about>' can get fucked.
First explain problem briefly. Wait for response, then: "Talk with human"
Works on most bots I have talked to. My theory is that they want to have some context before the talk. Maybe to route it to the correct representative. Or just that you have given the bot a shot at helping.
