"existing for no clear reason"
So like every other life form we know of?

This was my economics course. The professor would come in, play the textbook manufacturer provided PowerPoint on the screen, and read the slides word for word with little to no elaboration. It was the most boring course I had ever taken.
Had perfect attendance and got 55% on my midterm.
Gave up, skipped almost all of my classes to instead just sit in the library and study on my own.
Got about 87% on my final exam.
Mandatory attendance is stupid, if you can pass the course you can pass the course.
Capitalism just hasn't gone far enough.
Soon parks will have locked gates and an entry fee so they can monetize trees while they are still alive.
I've worked retail and one of the things that baffled me was just how wasteful price tags were.
They change SO OFTEN and it's so much paper and plastic just tossed it the trash every time. Never even thought about it until I worked at a store and had to change them.
No one is saying that Iran is credible, they just said they have more credibility than the US.
It's not a white and black situation, you can still be absolutely untrustworthy, but still slightly more credible than the next worst even less credible person.
Most trading these days is probably just AI and algorithms. They see a positive headline and starts making buys or selling stuff if it's negative. It's all a money printing machine for the rich and a casino for the poor.
I've driven around air side at an airport a couple of times, it's not always immediately obvious if there's a plane landing even during the day, especially If you aren't particularly familiar with aircraft, even during the day.
This was at night, the driver was given the all clear, and there was an emergency they needed to get to quickly. So even if the driver looked to see if it were clear, being dark, all he would see is a bunch of lights in the sky. It would have needed more than a quick glance to see if the lights were of a landing plane or a plane that was just taking off, or even lights from a plane at all.
Yeah I could never willingly live in an apartment for many reasons, but a few of them being:
no common outdoor area for pets, so if your dog needs to pee you have to take them for a walk around the block to pee on some tiny patch of grass beside the street.
As you mentioned no garage/driveway to work on a vehicle or even have any other space intensive hobby/activity like woodworking.
Privacy, I just hate having neighbours and noises at all times of the day.
Gardening for more than a couple pots of tomatoes and herbs on a balcony.
And many more
Probably not much more so than if a giant human came by and picked it up
I literally feel this as more of a feature than a bug.
Can we please keep it?
You're pretty much always going to need LNG or Oil for something or other, it's never going to go away 100%. There are applications/processes/technologies that can't be electrified.
Only 600 more points and it will be lower than when trump too office last year, all gains lost.
