Excellent timing for me on finding this post, I am just about to switch back to Linux after a few months being stuck on Windows.
Anyone using this? What kind of "quirks" should I expect to see?

On brand new installs the LIVE experience is as plug and play as can be. Keep an eye on the latest LUG Wiki news when switching to the PTU or returning from a break: https://github.com/starcitizen-lug/knowledge-base/wiki#news
As an HOTAS enthusiast, with 3 sticks, throttle, pedals, and a couple panels…. How would this handle all my peripherals? And would I be able to customize them?
Right now I use Joystick Gremlin in windows to handle a lot of custom functions, e.g. switch on panel A swaps roll and yaw between pedals axis and right stick axis
I can confirm that my hosas + throttle + pedals works out of the box. I did had to enable pedals in wine configuration once though, but aside from this all works great. I’m not into customising my inputs so I can’t comment if that’s doable.
