Good on him. Stardew Valley is great, but it's solid as-is and he'll never release Haunted Chocolatier if he doesn't focus on it.

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.

It's more than finished. It's been expanded after release several times. Not every game should be a forever game.
You are right, not every game should. Based on how much my partner enjoys stardew tho, ill vote for that one to be forever.
Dont get me wrong, if the concerned ape wants to focus on choclatier or, well whatever they want, thats cool to. But I support any desire the ape has to keep working on stardew.
I feel like stardew valley is complete enough. I’ve played it for more than 200 hours and there’s still a tonne I can do.
Eh, you said complete ENOUGH, not complete. Doesnt sound like its complete.
Meanwhile, Sunberry Village just came out a couple of months ago with more villagers added every week. The Modding community is alive and well.

Can't remember who said this, but it's absolutely the truth. There's always something which you feel that can be improved.
