It's not a complicated game and they've already delayed it once because it looked ten years old before it had even released. Iirc they assigned it to a different team after that. There's always hope.

I mean, the original is still fun to play, even if the controlls are outdated from a modern perspective. But it is so interesting to see, how so much of the fluid movements, we see in modern games were tried out there.
