They put out a lot of videos a few years ago... I don't remember tickets being involved.
I have a bumper sticker for a late-70s Mercedes 240D I'll be obtaining soon, that says: "Think this is slow? Wait until I go uphill"
I can't wait 😅
Was my first car ;-) 360000km till the engine died.
Bummer, that's pretty low for these things.
The 240D I'm getting already has nearly 500,000 miles, and is still a daily driver. I drove it myself a few months ago, my wife's grandmother is giving it to us since she can't drive anymore.
Used to have one of those orange pop-tops. They were actually scarily zippy, yet wobbly in high winds.
A Diesel Vanagon, however, was the definition of Slow-Ass. Drove one owned by a friend up a busy road with a steep incline. Never had so many people honking at me, but it just wouldn't go over 20MPH. Was channeling Scotty yelling, "She's giving all she's got!"
I saw that bus on a trailer in Quartzite,AZ a couple months ago!
And that was the fastest that bus will ever be seen going
