Very true! And so many do shit work knowing it's unlikely you'd be repeat business anyway. Most people just go to where insurance sends em which is often the ever shitty Caliber Collisions.

Me too! The body shop we use is a mom and pop place we've used before and they're amazing!

She did... And it's August 25th when the body shop can take the car in. Fortunately it's only visual damage, it still runs perfectly fine so I'm driving it!

August 25th is when the body shop can get me in...

At least the other drivers insurance is paying for everything.

Fuck... I get shit at work for not reading subjects in emails too.

Had one person put the whole email in the subject to fuck with me. It worked.

About two thirds through Tender Is The Flesh. Not for the faint of heart... Wow.

Just finished Antifragile by Nassim Taleb for the third time.

Product Driven by Matt Watson (book is out on the 17th, got it early for review purposes), it's fantastic!

The Black Death by Dorsey Armstrong and it's also fantastic! I learned so much I didn't know. Like the plague lasted 300+ years and reoccurred every ~10 years. And some would argue over 1000 years. Wild!

Dawnshard by Brandon Sanderson in my attempt to get caught up on all things cosmere. 7 more books and I'm all caught up!

Lol! ❤️ run on rants.

And I used to be quite overweight with a large gut. My kids used to say I was 19 months pregnant. The weight is gone but I kept the name.

I had no idea, he spoke so kindly on stage of people and the movie he wanted to make about people.... He didn't mention race and I guess I filled in the gaps with my own projections...!?

Absolutely! And an incredible empathy and love for people.

Me bald with no beard looks like the under side of my big toe with eyes and a mouth. I think I'll keep the beard.

No joke, totally unexpected! He knows how to make an amazing experience.

This post didn't seem against the rules, if it is and I missed it let me know.

The winner is pictured above. Here are some other pictures my son and I took while at the race yesterday.

Below is the Canadian team my son was rooting for, they had a good time until their transmission blew. They said they'll be back next year!

I couldn't get her face right, she said that's common due to her unique features. I disagree, it's my lack of skill and practice. Hopefully as I get better I get a chance to paint her again and do her justice!

The title Cougar is my favorite. My Dad owned one when he was young.

My son and I are going to the Pikes Peak HC this year! Just bought tickets and I can't wait. Lived here our whole lives and we've never been able to go.

Got this at an ice cream shop in Denver. It tasted great and was fun to eat.

I dunno, drawing this made me laugh though.
